Animals have roamed the earth since the beginning of time. From the alligator to the zebra all share this planet and survive the best they can with an ever changing habitat. As species become extinct, like the dinosaur, new life is forming all the time. Animals depend on one another for survival, like a bear eating fish, like a horse plowing a field, or a dog searching for survivors after an earth quake, animals truly depend on one another. Thru out history man and animal has learned to coexist with one another to the benefit of both. When we see we are endangering a species, like the eagle, we can take steps to improve it chances for survival. Like the bison, which we almost wiped out, we’ve learned we can share the land and still have food with out wiping out a species. Like we’ve done with cows, chickens and pigs which feed people thru out the world. Man and animal has learned to accept each other, which benefits both in other ways. Like man’s best friend the dog. How many times have you read or heard about a dog saving its owners life. Other domesticated animals include the cat and bird. Most pets bring tremendous amounts of enjoyment to there owners, there loyalty and companion ship is a benefit that truly can not be measured. As with everything a pet is in the eye of the beholder. snakes for some make a great pet while you may prefer a rabbit, or maybe your style is tropical fish, or you may even have a horse. Most animals should be left in the wild in there natural environment. Would you really trust a lion or some other wild cat, it may not harm you, but what about others. |
