Religion has been a major factor in the history of man. From the beginning of time man has relied on faith to endure the hardships of this cold cruel world. Whether a Christian or a Jew or whatever religion you follow, all are based on believing in a higher being. Religion is used in both good and bad ways. Religion should be a way for all people to get along and solve problems, yet it is not. Religious figures, such as the pope , try and promote this philosophy while others use religion to promote other ideas. The bible with its scriptures and quotes gives us plenty to think about and gives us ways to live our life.

Religion can be a part of our life, and something to follow as we go thru life. Religious symbols are everywhere as a reminder to us all. How we deal with life can be made easier when one does have beliefs. Religion should be a guide by which we can live, it should not be ones life. With out core beliefs, one can become lost in an over crowded world. Religion is food for the soul. No matter what you call your god, you must have faith, for religion is based on things which could or could not actually be. It gives one hope for ones life or ones future.
